SFS Interaction Day was held on the 07th December 2019 in UCTS Campus. This event was organized by Foundation in Arts, Tutorial Group A, Academic Session 2019/2020 students with the aim to provide a platform for current Foundation students to know more about the undergraduate programmes offered in UCTS. Foundation students can take this opportunity to ask questions regarding their interested undergraduate programmes to the Head of Programmes and lecturers involved. Head of Programmes and lecturers involved can provide career guidance and advice to the Foundation students according to their interests, abilities, and skills.
Around 139 Foundation in Arts and 80 Foundation in Science students involved as participants in this event assisted by 25 working committees from Foundation in Arts, Tutorial Group A. 3 Foundation lecturers were assigned to oversee the entire event. There were a lot of interesting activities during the event such as Undergraduate Programmes Briefing by Head of Programmes from Different Schools in UCTS, Business Digitalization Talk, 3D Design Competition, Instagram Photography Competition, Visitation to Architecture Studio and Gallery, Flying Drone Experience at UCTS Drone Centre, Tensile Test, Water Density Challenge and Magic Cabbage Challenge. This event was made possible with the support of various individuals and corporate sponsors around Sarawak especially SS Electrical Engineering and Kelly Beauty Therapy.
We do hope that this event can aid our current Foundation students in making the right decision on which undergraduate programme they are interested to enroll in 2020.
