Foundation students from University College of Technology Sarawak together with Sibu Autistic Association (SAA) hosted a charity event which involved 30 children at Agape Centre recently.

This event aims to allow students to explore the impact of their hard work on the underserved communities through this event. While the process of organizing this event, the students able to develop their soft skills in students such as leadership and communication skills by spending time with the participated children.

A few activities to develop the children’s motor skills were conducted by students for children such as Slime making, Hand Painting and Coloring.

This event was made possible with the support of various corporate sponsors around Sibu especially Ah Kee Cafe, Tanahmas Hotel and Gim Hwak Enterprise Sdn Bhd were the main sponsors of the event. Other sponsors were Nee Seng Ngeng & Son’s Sago Sdn Bhd, Li Hua Hotel and ABC Car Accessories. Through this event, the students were able to raise RM500 and donated to SAA.
