School of Foundation Studies received a delegation of students and lecturer from Guang Dong AIB Polytechnic (GDAIB), from 21st November 2019 until 29th November 2019. The delegation of students was as led by their lecturer namely Mr. Ivan.

The delegates were welcomed by Director Centre for International Relations (CIR); Dr Winnie Wong Poh Ming along with respective lecturers from SFS namely Abang Mohammad Azlan & Agnes Ayang.

The educational trip enriched the students with memorable experience about Sarawak culture. During their stay, they were introduced to the local delicacies and Sarawak cuisine, learning basic Malay language, baking kek lapis, kuih cap and ondeh-ondeh, spectating a dance showcase by Sri Tari Kenyalang. Networking session was also held between the visitors and their peers in foundation program when crafting robotic arm together in one of the programs. We look forward to more collaborations in the future with GDAIB.
